Why Nexiant

Where Your Work Has Reach.

Global reach, real clients

Nexiant's products are used by financial institutions around the world. The problems you work on affect compliance teams, fraud analysts, and regulators every day.

Four specialist brands, one platform

MemberCheck, GPayments, NameScan, and FraudShield operate across different parts of financial crime and fraud. Working across all four means genuine variety — 3DS authentication, AML screening, transaction monitoring, and identity verification.

High standards, high autonomy

We hire people who take ownership and work without constant direction. The bar is high and the expectations are clear.

Junior Product Engineer

Neurocom
Chatswood, NSW | On siteFull-time | Contract

We're looking for a Junior Product Engineer who wants to work across the full product lifecycle.

You might be building a new feature, investigating a customer issue, helping a client integrate with our APIs, fixing a production problem, or automating a repetitive workflow.

The common thread is ownership: understand the problem, find the solution, build it, test it and help get it into production.

You'll work closely with Product Managers, developers and Customer Experience, using AI and automation tools to move faster and solve real product and customer problems.

Strong graduates are welcome. We care more about your technical foundations, curiosity and ability to figure things out than years of experience.

What you'll do

  • Build and improve product features across frontend, backend, APIs and integrations.
  • Investigate customer and production issues using code, logs, APIs and data.
  • Help customers troubleshoot technical and integration issues.
  • Use AI coding tools and agents to understand, build, test and debug software.
  • Identify repetitive work and build automations or internal tools to improve it.
  • Take changes through testing, review and release with the existing team.

What we're looking for

  • Programming experience in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Go or similar.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, HTTP, JSON and software debugging.
  • Experience building something yourself. University, work or personal projects all count.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity about how systems work.
  • Interest or experience in AI-assisted development and automation.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work across the stack.

You don't need to know every technology we use. You do need enough technical understanding to question AI output, test it and take responsibility for what you ship.

Your projects matter

Tell us about something you've built: an application, API integration, automation, AI agent, university project or personal project. We're interested in what you built, how you approached it and what you learned.

  • Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging business and technical stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of sales pipelines and CRM systems, with strong commercial judgement, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, organised, detail-oriented and results-driven approach, with the ability to take ownership and follow established processes.
  • Interest in using AI and automation to work more effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal English.
